MY BACKGROUND

10 Years in the Hair Industry. 5 Years Specialising in Hair Loss.

Over the last decade working in the hair industry I developed something most hair loss specialists simply don’t have a deep, hands-on understanding of hairlines, facial aesthetics, and what actually looks natural on a real person.

Five years ago I began specialising in hair loss helping men understand their options, navigate the transplant process, and make confident, informed decisions about their hair restoration journey.

That combination of aesthetic expertise and hair loss specialism is rare in this industry and it directly benefits every client I work with.

HOW IT STARTED

I Wanted to Help Every Man. Not Just Sell One Solution.

My journey into hair restoration began with hair systems, helping men who had lost their hair regain confidence they thought was gone for good. I even went on to fit hair systems for the NHS, working with clients whose hair loss went beyond cosmetic concerns into genuine medical need.

But I quickly realised that hair systems aren’t the right solution for everyone. I wanted to be able to help every man whatever his situation, his budget, or his stage of hair loss.

That realisation led me deeper into the industry. Transplants, medication, SMP, PRP – I built relationships with surgeons, clinics, and specialists across every treatment pathway. And I discovered that what men needed most wasn’t another clinic pushing a single solution. It was someone genuinely independent who would tell them the truth.

That is when The Hair Loss Guy was born.

I take medication to control it. I’ve sat where you’re sitting right now, researching options late at night, trying to figure out who to trust and what actually works. I know the confusion. That personal experience shapes everything I do at The Hair Loss Guy. It means I approach every single client with genuine empathy, not as a number, not as a commission, but as someone going through something I understand first hand.

It also means I will never recommend something because it benefits me commercially. I’ve been on the other side of this conversation. I know what honest advice feels like and I know what it feels like when you’re not getting it.

If your hair loss is at a stage where surgery isn’t yet appropriate, I’ll tell you. If medication is a better first step, I’ll tell you. If the timing isn’t right, I’ll tell you.
